Safe Out

Please join Safe Out for safeTALK, a half-day alertness and prevention training to help increase your knowledge, comfort, and ability to reach out to someone experiencing thoughts of suicide. While safeTALK is an approach that benefits the larger community, this particular training will have an emphasis on the needs, care, and supports within the LGBTQ community. Through this training, regardless of your prior training or experience, you will become a resource within the community to help identify, support, and connect people with the care they need and deserve. This event is free and open to the community, but you must be 15 or older to attend.

Mercy Maricopa Integrated Care (MMIC) and Safe Out are committed to creating safer communities in Maricopa County and equipping more individuals with the skills to reach out and support one another. As such, MMIC and Safe Out are supporting all costs of this workshop, which is valued at $25 per person, so that it can be free of charge to you.
